Porto Santa Margherita is very well known for its large marina at the mouth of the Livenza River, which has room for approximately 450 boats in the sea and 80 on land.
Known as Marina 4, it spans around 50,000 m² and is used by fishing boats and recreational craft with sails and engines. It has a workshop, a store and a fuel station.
Due to the important role played by sailing in the resort, there is a boat club in Porto Santa Margherita that promotes high-profile sailing events that take place from April to September, such as the Duecento, Cinquecento and Prosecco’s Cup regattas. In addition, the boat club hires craft with or without a skipper and it organizes sailing courses for adults and children.
