Lots of outdoor sports are on offer in Altanea: the beach is the ideal place for long sessions of beach tennis on the shore, as well as hard-fought games of bocce, football and volleyball. You can also swim and dive in the sea.
Children can run all over the large areas of grass in the holiday villages and play impromptu games with their families or the friends that they have made in Altanea. There are slides, swings or other items of play equipment for kids in the public parts of almost all of the holiday villages.
The Sporting Club Altanea is a sports centre with table tennis tables, five- and seven-a-side football pitches, two beach volleyball courts, two tennis courts, one basketball, badminton and volleyball court, changing rooms with hot showers and tennis lessons for groups and individuals. The Sporting Club Altanea welcomes both locals and tourists. Lampo Group guests are free to book the facilities and take part in the tournaments and events organized by the club over the summer. Weekly Family Cards offering access to all of the facilities are available for extremely reasonable prices.
The sporting selection in Altanea also includes Pra’ delle Torri Golf Club, which has an 18-hole course in a quintessentially Mediterranean natural setting by the sea. Beginners, amateurs and professionals are all welcome. In addition to the course itself, it has a driving range, a putting green, professional instructors and a packed competition schedule.
